Sylvia Lahav
Sylvia’s career as an art historian and museum specialist has taken an unexpected late swerve and she have become deeply interested in ceramics.
Although Sylvia loves the making, and specifically the throwing, of standard bowls in porcelain, it is using the surface of these pots as a three dimensional canvas for designs taken from artists she particularly admire, like Matisse, Picasso , Russian constructivism and Japanese imagery that most inspires her.
