Sabi’s practice operates at the intersection of painting, sculpture, and material experimentation, synthesising African visual heritage with a Western academic grounding in fine art.

The work is characterised by a sustained engagement with organic growth systems, linear structures and a meditative repetition, used both as visual language and conceptual framework.

As a ceramic artist, Sabi endeavour’s to make work that resists strict functional category whilst still aligning with contemporary art tradition.
